On Saturday, November 2nd, All Saints Episcopal Church was honored to welcome The Rt. Rev. David G. Read, Bishop of the Diocese of West Texas, for a beautiful All Saints Day service. The morning was filled with worship, music, and fellowship that will remain in our hearts.

Bishop Read, who has personal ties to our area, delivered an inspiring sermon that resonated deeply with the congregation. Adding to the joy of the occasion, the service began with a heartfelt children’s processional, bringing smiles to everyone present.

Ms. Lupita Abrego blessed us with her talent, playing piano as the congregation sang beloved hymns, including Amazing Grace and Be Thou My Vision. Her music added a rich layer of beauty to the service.
Another special moment of the day was welcoming new members into the Episcopal Church. Seeing individuals received into the communion of faith was a profound reminder of the Church’s mission and the strength of our community.

After the service, we gathered outside for a cheerful group photo in front of the church entrance, capturing the joy of the day. The celebration continued with a potluck luncheon in the Parish Hall, where parishioners enjoyed time to connect over delicious food.

We are deeply grateful to Bishop Read for his uplifting leadership, his kindness, and the opportunity to get to know him better. His presence was a true blessing, and we wish him abundant blessings in his continued service to the Diocese of West Texas.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this special day!
